Crows do not have a complex song in the traditional sense. Their vocalizations are primarily calls.

Calls

The most iconic call is a loud, harsh 'caw-caw-caw'. They have a wide repertoire of vocalizations, including rattles, clicks, gurgles, coos, and alarm calls. Calls vary in pitch, rhythm, and intensity depending on the context (e.g., alarm, contact, territorial display).

When they vocalize

Vocalize throughout the day, especially at dawn and dusk, and when communicating with other crows or reacting to perceived threats.
