Uccelli simili a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Key differences

Major Mitchell's Cockatoo has a distinctive pinkish-white body, a pink flush on the underparts, and a much more elaborate, multi-colored crest (red, yellow, and white) with a prominent white tip. Its crest is also broader and more rounded than the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo's.

Key differences

Little Corellas are significantly smaller (35-40 cm), have a shorter, less prominent crest, and a blue-grey eye-ring. They also have a pinkish patch between the eye and beak, which is absent in the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo.

Key differences

Long-billed Corellas are similar in size to Little Corellas but possess a much longer upper mandible, a prominent red-orange band across the forehead, and a pinkish wash on the face and breast. Their crest is also less pronounced than the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo's.
