The song is a soft, trilling 'zee-zee-zee-tui-tui' or 'si-si-si-tui-tui', often delivered from a prominent perch. It is less complex and varied than the songs of some other tit species.

Richiami

The most characteristic call is a distinctive, purring 'purrr-r-r-r' or 'churr-r-r-r', often given in alarm or contact. Also a high-pitched 'tsee-tsee-tsee' or 'zee-zee-zee' contact call, and a sharp 'chick-a-dee' like call.

Quando vocalizzano

Vocalizes year-round, but calls are most frequent during the breeding season (spring and early summer) for territorial defense and mate attraction. Contact calls are common during foraging.
