Ospreys do not have a complex song. Their vocalizations are primarily calls.

Richiami

Common calls include a series of sharp, whistling 'chew-chew-chew' or 'kyew-kyew-kyew' notes, often given when disturbed or approaching the nest. A more urgent 'cheereek!' or 'chick-chick-chick' is used as an alarm call. During courtship, a softer 'pip-pip-pip' may be heard.

Quando vocalizzano

Most vocal during the breeding season, especially around the nest, and when interacting with mates or intruders. Less vocal during migration or on wintering grounds.
