• Behavior. Characteristic head-bobbing walk while foraging on the ground. Often found in flocks in urban settings, perching on ledges or wires.
• Vocalization. Listen for the soft, guttural cooing sounds, particularly the 'coo-roo-coo-coo' courtship call.
