Yellow-browed Warbler song and calls

Song

The song is a high-pitched, thin, and often rather monotonous series of 'tsee-tsee-tsee' or 'swee-swee-swee' notes, sometimes accelerating or varying slightly in pitch. It is less varied and often less musical than the song of the Common Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler.

Calls

The most characteristic call is a sharp, short, and often repeated 'chup' or 'chip', sometimes described as a 'tchip'. It is a distinctive, hard note that aids in identification, especially for vagrants.
