Not a true songbird. Their vocalizations are generally described as calls.

Richiami

A distinctive series of loud, resonant, often musical 'whooping' or 'barking' calls, sometimes described as 'woo-hoo' or 'honk-honk'. These calls are often given in flight and can be heard from a considerable distance. They lack the trumpeting call of the Trumpeter Swan or the hissing of the Mute Swan.

Quando vocalizzano

Most vocal during migration and in wintering flocks, communicating frequently. Also vocal on breeding grounds, especially when disturbed or interacting with mates/young.
