Cedar Waxwings do not have a complex song. Their vocalizations are typically high-pitched, thin, and reedy calls.

Calls

A distinctive, high-pitched, trilled 'szeee' or 'seee-seee' call, often given in flight or while perched. Also a shorter, sharper 'tsit' call. These calls are often given in unison by a flock, creating a characteristic buzzing sound.
