How it forages

Fearow are apex predators, hunting from high altitudes. They use their exceptional eyesight to spot prey, then execute swift, powerful dives to capture it with their strong talons. They primarily consume small to medium-sized mammals (e.g., Rattata, Sentret), reptiles (e.g., Ekans), and other birds. They are opportunistic hunters and will also scavenge if the opportunity arises.

When it feeds

Diurnal. Most active during daylight hours, particularly mid-morning and late afternoon, when thermals are strongest for soaring and prey is active.
