Key differences

Goshawks are significantly larger and bulkier than Eurasian Sparrowhawks. They have a more prominent supercilium, a heavier build, and a relatively shorter tail for their size. Their flight is more powerful and less 'flappy'. Juveniles are also browner and more heavily streaked than juvenile sparrowhawks.
