Highly aerial insectivores. They perch on prominent vantage points (wires, branches, posts) and sally forth to catch insects in mid-air. Larger prey, especially stinging insects, are taken back to the perch and repeatedly bashed against it to remove the sting and exoskeleton before consumption. They are adept at removing the venom sac from bees and wasps.
