Slightly smaller and more slender than the American Crow. The most reliable distinction is the call: Fish Crows have a more nasal, often two-syllable 'cah-ah' or 'uh-uh' call, compared to the American Crow's harsher, clearer 'caw-caw'. In flight, Fish Crows may appear to have a slightly longer primary projection. Found primarily along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts of North America.
